  2. Neutral Position:
    • In the neutral position, the spool is centered within the valve body, blocking all fluid flow between the ports.
    • This prevents hydraulic fluid from entering or exiting the valve.
  3. Handle/Solenoid Actuation:
    • When a handle is moved or a solenoid is energized, it exerts a force on the spool, causing it to shift from the neutral position.
