How Does A Hydraulic Pressure Relief Valve Work?

A hydraulic pressure relief valve, or a pressure relief valve or safety valve, is a crucial component in hydraulic systems. Its primary function is to protect the system from overpressure by releasing excess fluid when the pressure exceeds a predetermined limit. Let’s explore how a hydraulic pressure relief valve works:

  1. Valve Operation:
    • A hydraulic pressure relief valve typically consists of a valve body, a spring-loaded control element, and an adjustable spring.
    • The valve body contains an inlet port, an outlet port, and a control chamber connected to the spring-loaded control element.
  2. Pressure Setting:
    • The pressure relief valve is pre-set or adjustable to a specific pressure level.
    • The pressure setting determines the threshold at which the valve opens to relieve excess pressure.
  3. Pressure Monitoring:
    • The pressure is monitored continuously when hydraulic fluid enters the valve through the inlet port.
    • If the pressure exceeds the pre-set limit, the control element is activated to relieve the excess stress.
  4. Control Element Activation:
    • The control element, often a spring-loaded poppet or spool, responds to the excessive pressure.
    • As the pressure rises beyond the set point, the force exerted on the control element exceeds the opposing party of the spring.
  5. Opening of the Valve:

Bengkel permesinan dilengkapi dengan pusat pembubutan rel miring yang disesuaikan, pusat permesinan, mesin pengasah berkecepatan tinggi, robot pengelasan, dan peralatan terkait lainnya, yang dapat menangani pemrosesan tabung silinder dengan diameter bagian dalam maksimum 400mm dan panjang maksimum 6 meter.
