Standard MOB Light Rod Hydraulic Cylinder

MOB light rod hydraulic cylinder is composed of a front cylinder head, rear cylinder head, piston, cylinder, piston rod, four screw rods, eight locking nuts and gaskets, a piston locking nut, with the gasket, a piston rod end matching locking nut, a set of seals, rod end protective sleeve, oil plug. Since the cylinder of this series is only 7Mpa, the front and back covers are cast HT200, the piston rod is No. 45 chrome plated layer thickness 2-3 wires, the cylinder barrel is No. 20 roll tube, and the rod material is A3.

How To Take Apart A Hydraulic Cylinder?

Taking apart a hydraulic cylinder requires caution and adherence to proper safety procedures. Here is a general step-by-step guide on how to disassemble a hydraulic cylinder:

  1. Safety Precautions:
    • Ensure the hydraulic system is depressurized and the cylinder is not under any load.
    • Put on personal protective equipment such as gloves and safety goggles.
    • Have a clean workspace and necessary tools readily available.
  2. Removal from the System:
    • Disconnect the hydraulic hoses or fittings from the cylinder, ensuring the system is depressurized and there is no residual pressure.
    • Remove any mounting brackets or hardware that secure the cylinder to the equipment or machinery.
  3. Secure the Cylinder:
    • Place the hydraulic cylinder in a secure position, such as a vise or cylinder holding fixture, to prevent it from rolling or moving during disassembly.
  4. Remove the Rod End Cap:
    • Locate the rod end cap, which is typically situated on the opposite end of the piston rod.
    • If there are bolts or fasteners, carefully remove them using the appropriate tools.
    • Gently tap the end cap with a soft-faced mallet or use a rubber mallet to loosen it. Avoid using excessive force to prevent damage.
  5. Extraction of the Piston Assembly:
    • Once the rod end cap is removed, the piston assembly should be accessible.
    • Slide or gently tap the piston assembly out of the cylinder barrel using a wooden dowel or a soft-faced mallet. Be cautious not to damage the piston or cylinder surfaces.
  6. Removal of the Piston Rod:
    • With the piston assembly extracted, the piston rod will be exposed.
    • Inspect the piston rod for any retaining clips, snap rings, or other retaining mechanisms that may be holding it in place.
    • If present, carefully remove the retaining hardware using suitable tools.
    • Gently slide or tap the piston rod out of the cylinder barrel. Take care to avoid bending or damaging the rod during removal.
  7. Disassembly of Additional Components:
    • Depending on the specific design of the hydraulic cylinder, there may be additional components such as seals, bearings, or wear rings.
    • Remove these components as needed for inspection, replacement, or maintenance purposes. Refer to the manufacturer’s documentation or specifications for guidance on dismantling specific parts.

The machining shop is equipped with customized inclined rail turning center, machining center, high-speed honing machine, welding robot and other related equipment, which can handle the processing of cylinder tubes with a maximum inner diameter of 400mm and a maximum length of 6 meters.

With small and medium-sized cylinder automatic water-based paint coating line, to achieve automatic robot loading and unloading and automatic spraying, the design capacity of 4000 pieces per shift;
